A National Conservatoire Competition winner, Miss Lujza Durisova was born in Bratislava, Slovakia. A graduate from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, she studied with Prof. Jozef Podhoransky. During her studies, she participated in several international master courses led by renowned teachers and soloists such as Maria Kliegel, Christoph Richter, Arto Noras, Patrizio Serino and Thomas Demenga. In January 2011, she moved to the US to study in the Artist Certificate Program at the College of Charleston with Prof. Natalia Khoma.

Lujza took a part at several performances in her home country and abroad. These events include the New Slovak Music festival, Central European Music Festival, International Theatre Festival, Anglo - Czechoslovak Trust in London, EBU Ars Acustica Live Broadcast Prague, Atelier XXI - radioART, participation in The Bohuslav Martinu Foundation Interpretation Competition (Prague 2008), Satellite Concert of Electro acoustic Music (Slovak Radio Live 2010), performing with Bohdan Warchal Chamber Orchestra, Slovak Philharmonic, to mention just a few. As a member of the Helsinki Strings Orchestra, she performed at the 37th International ESTA Congress 2009 in Vienna under the leadership of Ernst Kovacic.
