Support us in our mission to empower students to become believers and achievers in music by providing superior professional music instruction, education, and performance opportunities. In order to pursue this mission, we reach out to the community through unique programs such as the Honors Program, Music Café, Satellite Programs, and Outreach Concerts sharing classical music with those who have little access or exposure.

In January of 2006 CAM launched its Honors Program. This program offers need and merit based scholarships to students for private lessons, chamber music classes, and music theory classes. Talented and disciplined students receive conservatory-style training without financial concerns. Through the Honors Program, CAM began working with WINGS for Kids at Memminger Elementary during the 2006-2007 school year, providing after-school music instruction to low income/ at risk children. Honors Program students give back to the community, performing in schools and churches in low income areas and serving at risk youth.

This year, CAM received a Participation Grant from the South Carolina Arts Commission. With this grant, CAM will increase its number of outreach concerts, bringing classical music to communities which are rarely exposed to it. The goal of CAM's participation project is to reach diverse students and audiences with classical music. Emphasis will be on increasing the participation of the African-American population.

CAM's Music Café reaches the adult community. This is a monthly social gathering bringing together musicians, artists, and supporters of the arts. At each meeting, an arts leader in the community offers a presentation and answers questions. This kind of interaction with the artists will create a more knowledgeable public about classical music as well as a more involved community.

Since its inception, CAM has offered music instruction in schools through our unique Satellite Program. Through this program, we have formed successful partnerships with 12 schools in the community. Students receive private instruction in piano, violin, cello, voice, and guitar at their school.

CAM has been successful through the support of friends like you who share our beliefs and hopes of bringing people together with classical music that enriches their lives. Your continued support can help us provide scholarships for low income and high risk students, produce Outreach Concerts for communities that don't have the opportunity to hear classical music, to sponsor Music Café, or purchase instruments for students that can't afford them.

Thank  you for your belief and support...
