The Charleston Academy of Music (CAM) is the premier music education institution for the Lowcountry’s youth.
CAM is a 501-c3 non-profit organization. Our revenue is generated by tuition fees and contributions from our generous community partners (foundations, businesses and individuals).

What we do:
By delivering world-class music instruction, CAM reaches many students in the greater Charleston area. By delivering this instruction CAM builds in the student a sense of confidence, self worth, admiring and working with others, discipline, and a sense of belonging and feeling truly special.
We envision a world where more students are learning music as a means to discover and express themselves. Through this process students also learn to respect others, aspire to role models, and the importance of teamwork. They feel included in something truly special and are empowered to become achievers through music instruction and performance opportunities.
