The Charleston Academy of Music (CAM) is the premier music education institution for the Lowcountry’s youth.
CAM is a 501-c3 non-profit organization. Our revenue is generated by tuition fees and contributions from our generous community partners (foundations, businesses and individuals).

The only classical music program of its kind in the region, CAM was established in 2003 by pianist and visionary educator Eunjoo Yun. We offer musical instruction in piano, voice, cello, classical guitar, violin, and viola. Musical instruction includes private lessons and various classes (Theory, Masterclasses and Performance) and workshops (String Workshops and Guitar Ensembles). Special courses include Beginning Suzuki Violin Classes.
Since it's inception CAM has shown remarkable growth, (currently over 200 students are served through the various programs), each year expanding its reach to include more students, more instruments, more activities and more performance venues.
