Raquel Boldorini is a prize winner in the Vercelli (Italy), Recife (Brazil), Viña del Mar (Chile), Lalewicz (Argentina) and Aspen (USA) Competitions. She has performed in all the important cities of Latin America, the USA (including Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center), Salle Cortot in Paris, Wigmore Hall in London, and tours Europe almost every season. As a soloist, she played with the major orchestras in South America, the USA and Europe. She has taught in the National Conservatory in Montevideo and has given master classes all over the world. A recording of South American composers has been released with much acclaim by the Organization of American States. This is Ms. Boldorini’s third appearance in Charleston.

No stranger to Charleston audiences, Sean Kennard has won top prizes in the Queen Elisabeth, Viña del Mar, Hilton Head, Sendai, Iowa and Vendome International Competitions, the National Chopin Competition and the American Pianists Association. Kennard has soloed with Japan’s NHK Chamber Orchestra, the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, the Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, the Sendai Philharmonic, the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre National de Belgique and Orchestre Royal de Chambre in Belgium, the German Chamber Orchestra of Frankfurt am Main, the Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc, Orquesta Sinfonica de Chile, Orquesta Filarmónica de Montevideo, Sinfonia Perugina, the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and the orchestras of Charleston, Sioux City and Honolulu.
